Why am I getting this E-newsletter?

ISMA and Go Snowmobiling created this e-newsletter as a way to communicate with the US and Canadian travel bureaus, convention and visitors’ bureaus, and chambers of commerce. We have information available to help in promoting the activity and will keep you informed of events and activities. This is the second in a series of four e-newsletters for the 2009/2010 season. Be sure to add "listmanager@gosnowmobiling.org" to your address book. Thank you for helping us promote family snowmobiling!

Get your local clubs involved

If you haven’t already, form a relationship with your local clubs. They build and groom your local snowmobile trail system—enjoyed by visitors and local residents alike. Snowmobile clubs are always eager to promote the activity they love! They will gladly participate in community events and can get involved in the planning. 2010 Events

Mark your calendars for these 2010 events. Additional information will be published in future e-newsletters.
  • International Snowmobile Safety Week is January 10-16, 2010. The purpose of this program is to expose people to safe snowmobiling practices and to demonstrate how operating safely can prevent mishaps. Join us in promoting snowmobiling as a safe activity, click to download the campaign action manual and create your own safety week event, or to learn more.
  • Take a Friend Snowmobiling Week is February 12-22, 2010. This elongated week celebrates friends and family snowmobiling, and encourages all of us to take our non-snowmobiling friends out snowmobiling. Dealers and clubs are encouraged to participate in the activity and try to hold a special day or weekend encouraging customers and members to bring non-snowmobiling friends to go for a short ride and discover what snowmobilers do during the winter. Look for more information in upcoming e-newsletters or visit www.snowmobile.org.

About ISMA

The International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association (ISMA) is an organization representing the four snowmobile manufacturers. We coordinate committees within the industry to handle concerns such as snowmobile safety, the promotion of the lifestyle activity of snowmobiling, keeping accurate statistics, reporting the growth of the industry and the positive economic impact snowmobiling has throughout the world. ISMA formed Go Snowmobiling in 2001 to provide the public and media with pertinent information about the snowmobiling lifestyle and to promote snowmobiling as a fun family activity. For more information, visit www.gosnowmobiling.org.
